Keck Medicine of USC
Hanners is responsible for oversight of USC’s clinical activities, including Keck Medical Center of USC, which includes Keck Hospital and USC Norris Cancer Hospital; USC Verdugo Hills Hospital; USC Arcadia Hospital; USC Care Medical Group network of physicians; and more than 100 clinics in Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Tulare and Ventura counties. In April, the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center opened a treatment center in Newport Beach. On the flip side, last year, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale closed its 18-bed maternity ward, citing fewer births. Previously at Keck Medicine of USC, Hanners served as chief operating officer for Keck Medicine, as well as the chief executive for Keck Medical Center.
