Chair
AC Martin Partners Inc.
Martin is the third generation of the Martin family to helm AC Martin Partners Inc. since its founding in 1906; he joined the firm in 1968 and rose through the ranks to become chief executive in 1999. He recently turned over chief executive duties to Tom Hsieh but kept the chair title. Locally, the firm is best known for remaking the downtown Los Angeles skyline, including the $1.3 billion, 73-story Wilshire Grand tower. Other notable projects include the Consolidated Car Rental Facility at Los Angeles International Airport, the West Edge mixed-use project in Sawtelle, the redevelopment of the West Los Angeles Civic Center and the 12-story Arts District Center in downtown. Martin has also been a civic leader, especially in downtown Los Angeles.
