Psomas
Weiland, who joined downtown Los Angeles-based engineering consulting firm Psomas in 2004, was named in 2023 as co-group leader for engineering site development for projects throughout California and Utah. She’s also a principal of the firm and was recently named to the company’s board. Before her current post with Psomas, Weiland was the manager for about 70 engineers in the company’s Los Angeles office. Besides engineering work, Psomas does land planning/urban design and land-use entitlements. Some of the key Los Angeles projects that Psomas has worked on include NVE Apartments in North Hollywood and 2nd & PCH Retail Center in Long Beach.
