Valley Industry and Commerce Association
Waldman is the president of the Valley Industry & Commerce Association, a business advocacy organization also known as VICA. Waldman has been president of the organization, which was founded in 1949, since 2008. VICA represents more than 1.8 million residents and 245,000 businesses. The Valley Industry & Commerce Association’s offices are in Van Nuys. Before joining VICA, Waldman spent 11 years working for the state assembly as a representative for the San Fernando Valley, including seven years as a chief of staff. He was also an appointed member on the California Board of Accountancy from 2001 to 2008 and is a U.S. Army veteran.
