Gurney has been at the helm of Mission Valley Bank since its founding and has overseen growth initiatives – most recently, the opening of its Burbank branch. The Sun Valley bank offers specialized lending, accounts receivable, community development and merchant bankcard services, serving over 6,000 clients. Prior to her role at Mission Valley, Gurney was executive vice president and chief operating officer at American Pacific State Bank. She is a director of the California Community Banking Network, a member of the Federal Reserve’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council, chair of the College of the Canyons Foundation and vice chair of the Valley Economic Alliance.
