As a co-founder of Crescent Capital in Sawtelle, Attanasio has overseen the private equity firm Crescent Capital grow to close to $50 billion in assets. A big initiative for the firm this year is the opening of its new office in Frankfurt, Germany, to expand its alternative credit strategies to investors throughout Central European countries. Outside of Crescent, Attanasio is the chair and principal owner of the MLB Milwaukee Brewers team. He also chairs the league’s Investment Committee and is a member of the MLB Labor Policy and Economic Reform Committees. Additionally, Attanasio is a founding investor and board member of TORL BioTherapeutics and 1200Pharma – oncology drug development companies incubated at UCLA and CalTech.
