As president and chief executive of TCW Group, Koch establishes the strategic direction and overall day-to-day management of the downtown global assets management firm. This has involved developing and implementing a growth plan for TCW’s business including extending and expanding TCW’s alternative credit capabilities and private credit business. Under her leadership, the firm has established partnerships with PNC Bank and Nippon Life, which committed up to $3.3 billion in anchor capital to TCW. Koch also oversaw the opening of TCW’s Dubai office. Koch currently serves on the boards for Nasdaq Inc., the University of Notre Dame, The Investment Fund for Foundations and other groups.
