Formerly chief executive of Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach, Walker currently serves as executive chairman of the bank’s board. Walker has spent over 50 years with the bank, which was founded by his great-grandfather, holding various positions along the way. Under his leadership, F&M Bank has grown to just over $11.7 billion in assets and is now the seventh largest bank in L.A. County by assets. Externally, Walker is an advisory director of the YMCA of Greater Long Beach, a director of the Nell J. Redfield Foundation and serves as an emeritus director of the Memorial Medical Center Foundation of Long Beach.
