Nikou founded private investment firm Atar Capital in 2016 to prioritize socially responsible investing to address global issues and create impact. As managing partner, he oversees the firm’s strategy, including mergers and acquisitions, operations and corporate development. Under his leadership, Atar, which is based in Century City, has built a global portfolio of 12 companies, employing over 14,500 people and generating $1.8 billion in annual revenue. A few notable portfolio companies include WinCup, a manufacturer of biodegradable dine-in and takeout products, Clarvida, a behavioral health and human services provider, and Solero Technologies’ automotive division.
