Kennedy works the mushrooming Star Wars universe throughout the galaxy for franchise owner the Walt Disney Co. Under Kennedy, Lucasfilm produced “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and a raft of Star Wars-inspired TV/video streaming series that introduced new characters, storylines and mythology. An example is hit Disney+ original series “The Mandalorian,” whose third season premiered in March of last year. An accomplished movie producer, Kennedy now oversees audio-visual content, special effects wizard Industrial Light & Magic, and Skywalker Sound audio services. She assumed her position in 2012, handpicked by legendary filmmaker George Lucas as Disney took over.
