Chair, Chief Executive, Herbalife Nutrition Ltd.

Johnson is back at the helm of downtown-based nutrition supplement sales giant Herbalife. His task: to restore the sales mojo for Herbalife, which has roughly 10,000 employees. He took over on an interim basis in October 2022 as company sales were slumping and was named once again as the permanent chief executive at the end of the year. He initially served as Herablife’s CEO from 2003 to 2017, a tenure highlighted by the company’s fending off of a five-year short-selling attack from hedge fund manager Bill Ackman. Then he became an executive with Walt Disney Co., serving as head of the entertainment giant’s international division.
