Blank leads the management of Kayne Anderson, an alternative investment management firm headquartered in Century City founded in 1984 by Richard Kayne and John Anderson. Today the firm reports $35 billion in assets under management and invests in real estate, credit, infrastructure, energy and growth capital. Blank worked as a junior analyst at Kayne Anderson early in his career, before serving on two presidential campaigns and as a senior advisor on former California Gov. Jerry Brown’s 2010 election. As chief operating officer and president, Blank is the point of contact between investment teams and client relations at Kayne Anderson.
