Aecom Technology Corp. said it has closed its acquisition of RSW Inc., a Canadian engineering company.
Aecom of Los Angeles provides technical and management services to the transportation, energy, water and government sectors. It said Monday that the acquisition would expand its global energy business. RSW, which specializes in hydro power and transmission products in Canada, has 550 employees and revenues last year of $45 million. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Aecom said it expected the transaction would be neutral to earnings per share in fiscal 2011.
“Welcoming RSW into the Aecom family enables us to expand the growth opportunities for both companies,” Chief Executive John Dionisio said in a statement.
Shares were down 16 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $26.02 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
