Vantage Oncology LLC in Manhattan Beach announced that a subsidiary has acquired Radiation Oncology Services of America Inc., which owns and operates 17 radiation oncology centers in five states.

Radiation Oncology, based in Brentwood, Tenn., has operations in Georgia, Alabama, Texas, New Jersey and Florida. The deal grows Vantage to a network of 63 centers in 15 states.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition was “an attractive opportunity to increase the scale and strength of our national footprint and Vantage’s role as a leader in cancer care management,” Chief Executive Mike Fiore said in a statement.
