COPE Health Solutions, a national health care analytics company based downtown, has expanded its student scholars program to include Hawaii, the company announced Tuesday.

The COPE Health Scholars program provides students from high school to pre-med clinical and administrative settings to ready them for health care careers.

The workforce development program now offered at 15 hospitals in California and Washington will be offered this spring at Adventist Health Castle, a 160-bed hospital in Kailua, Hawaii.

The privately held COPE Health Solutions, founded in 2002 by UCLA students as Community Outreach Prevention and Education to provide health education to the underprivileged and uninsured across Los Angeles, now provides business solutions to hospitals, health systems, plans and physician groups nationwide.
