Aecom Technology Corp. on Tuesday said it won a contract, valued at up to $150 million, from the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency to support the agency’s Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program.

The Los Angeles provider of technical and management support services said the contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The company will support the assistance program’s response before and after coastal flooding and hurricanes as well as dam and levee failures, wildfires and severe storms.

“Aecom has a strong performance history with FEMA through our support on more than 700 task orders for the agency,” said Chief Executive John M. Dionisio in a statement. “We are excited to have the opportunity to continue this relationship through this important hazard-mitigation program.”

Shares were down 30 cents, or 1.5 percent to $25.03 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
