El Segundo firm Century Park Capital Partners announced Tuesday that it has acquired Better Life Technology, a Lenexa, Kan., manufacturer of specialized vinyl flooring products. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Kayne Private Energy Income Fund, a subsidiary of Century City firm Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, announced Thursday that it has made a $300 million equity investment in Tulsa, Okla., oil and gas company Oak Ridge Natural Resources.
