PE Roundup: Private Equity Deals Announced This Week

Beverly Hills firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners announced Tuesday that it has completed the sale of microwave component manufacturer Pacific Wave Systems Inc. in Garden Grove to Canadian telecom systems manufacturer COM DEV International Ltd. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Stock Building Supply Holdings Inc., a Raleigh, N.C., building materials distributor announced Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire fellow building products firm Building Materials Holding Corp. in a deal that values the combined companies at $1.5 billion. Beverly Hills firm Gores Group bought a majority stake in Stock Building Supply in 2009 and took the company public last year. Gores and affiliate funds still own 38 percent of Stock Building Supply’s outstanding shares.
