Hermosa Beach investment firm Marlin Equity Partners on Monday announced that it has acquired 6N Systems, its third tech deal in a month and the second in the health care sector.
6N Systems, which is based in Clifton Park, NY, makes software for financial billing, management and documentation that it sells to long term care organizations.
Marlin Equity did not disclose terms of the deal. It said it would merge 6N Systems with SigmaCare, a New York City electronic medical records software company it acquired last month.
Marlin Equity Partners manages more than $2.6 billion in capital and specializes in the health care sector. It closed its fourth fund on July 9 with $1.6 billion in capital commitments.
