In Tuesday trading, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 91 points, or 0.6 percent, to 15,929.
The Nasdaq was up 14 points, or 0.4 percent, to 4,098.
The S&P 500 ticked up 11 points, or 0.6 percent, to 1,793.
The LABJ Stock Index was up 1 point to 179.
