The hiring spree at the Weinstein Co. continues, with finance vet David Hutkin signing on to head a new L.A.-based division called the Strategic Initiatives, Investments and Banking Group.
Hutkin — whose resume includes entertainment finance posts at Bank of America, the Lewis Horwitz Org and, most recently, First California Bank — will concentrate on financing for both individual films and the company’s overall slate, as well as on off-balance sheet arrangements.
He’ll also work to bolster and expand the company’s banking relationships.
