Koreatown’s Hanmi Financial Corp., the holding company for Hanmi Bank, announced Thursday that Shick “Mark” Yoon has been appointed chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Yoon has served as Hanmi’s interim chief financial officer since November, following the resignation of former CFO Lonny Robinson. He has been with the bank since 2008.

The company announced in January that it was seeking a buyer or merger partner. But talks with Koreatown rivals Wilshire Bancorp Inc. and BBCN Bancorp Inc. have stalled due to disagreements over price and management, according to a Bloomberg News report last month.

Shares on Thursday closed down 20 cents, or 1 percent, to $16.00 on the Nasdaq.
