Three local business schools made Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2014 ranking of MBA programs, now in its 14th year.
UCLA’s Anderson School of Management made No. 10, rising one spot on the list. USC’s Marshall School of Business trailed not-too-far behind, rising seven spots to No. 21.
In a victory for Malibu, Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management debuted at No. 63 in the rankings.
Businessweek said it ranked 112 full-time MBA programs, 85 of which are in the United States, based on three measures: “A survey of student satisfaction (45 percent of the ranking); a survey of employers who hire those graduates (45 percent); and the expertise of each school’s faculty, measured by faculty research in esteemed journals (10 percent).”
