Aecom Technology Corp. on Tuesday said its Aecom-Envirocon joint venture was among six contractors that will share in a large environmental remediation contract awarded by the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

The joint venture will provide environmental cleanup services at various locations throughout the command’s Southwest and Atlantic regions. The Los Angeles technical and management support services provider said the potential value of the shared contract is $500 million.

Shares were up 14 cents, or less than a percent, to $26.84 in midday trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
