Since joining Foley & Lardner LLP, Annie Tsai has been a crucial asset to the ESG, Finance Practice, and Energy Sector teams. She goes the extra mile for her clients, advising in the development, acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Tsai worked for Southern California Edison’s Energy Procurement Group, where she optimized the utility’s multibillion-dollar conventional and renewables portfolio. She advised negotiation teams on the value and risks of power purchase agreements, resource adequacy capacity contracts, energy call options, and firm energy delivery contracts. Currently, her practice focuses on representing lead lenders in syndicated construction, tax equity, and term debt financing for solar projects and portfolios.
