Known as one of LA’s star litigators, Amy Jane Longo has more than 25 years of experience in securities litigation, with significant first-chair experience both as a defense counsel and as a senior SEC trial attorney.
Longo served as the head of the SEC’s Los Angeles Regional Office trial unit for nearly five years, building a formidable reputation throughout the Southwest region. As a founding partner in Ropes & Gray’s Los Angeles office since 2022, Longo leads litigation and enforcement matters that span commercial and securities litigation, SEC and DOJ enforcement — particularly involving asset managers and public issues, and hot-button cryptocurrency issues, including for some of California’s most prominent investment funds, public and private companies.
