Tara Wilson made history in 2024 as the first Black woman partner at BPM LLP. With over 17 years of public accounting experience, she is a tax specialist with deep knowledge in partnership taxation and real estate investments, serving clients across diverse industries including real estate, professional services, consumer business and manufacturing.
Wilson’s recent launch and leadership of BPM’s first REIT-focused tax practice represents a significant strategic expansion, providing support to real estate investment trusts throughout LA and beyond. Her recent accomplishments include counseling a client through a $15 million commercial property acquisition, providing strategic guidance on stock option tax implications, and developing innovative tax structures for a real estate investment fund.
