Ernie Ocampo is a partner at Reed Smith. As office managing partner of the firm’s Century City office, he oversaw the reopening of that office and drove successful adoption of the firm’s return-to-office policies. As partner chair of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) group, he develops programs to celebrate and educate others on AAPI matters, including US firmwide celebrations of AAPI Heritage Month.
Ocampo’s legal practice covers a broad range of transactional matters, including equity and debt financings, formation and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and day-to-day legal matters. In addition to acting as outside corporate counsel for his clients, Ocampo advises entertainment clients in connection with investments, joint ventures and business launches. He represents start-up and emerging growth companies in venture finance and M&A transactions, with an emphasis on the life sciences industry.
