Mary Hunter’s most successful career accomplishment is her masterful leadership transition and ongoing strategic expansion as the executive director of Angel Flight West (AFW). Having dedicated years to the organization previously serving with distinction as the development director— Hunter stepped into the top leadership role with an intimate, ground-level understanding of AFW’s mission. Her ultimate accomplishment has been scaling the organization’s reach across 12 Western states while maintaining the heart of its volunteer-led culture.
Under Hunter’s direction, Angel Flight West has significantly deepened its impact, coordinating thousands of free, non-emergency medical flights annually for children and adults facing severe geographical and financial barriers to care.
