He successfully represented a young man from El Salvador in a complex asylum matter, securing protection for his client who had suffered severe persecution, violence and threats from both gangs and military forces because of his sexual orientation. Lott has also leveraged his legal expertise to support nonprofit organizations, including obtaining tax-exempt status for a startup nonprofit focused on serving underprivileged youth.
