Long Beach Rescue Mission
In his role as president and CEO since July 2022, Jeff Levine’s leadership has been impactful to the community, bringing transformation, renewal and growth to Long Beach Rescue Mission. Under his leadership, the Mission’s services and programs have expanded with the opening of Apostle House, a home for unhoused disabled veterans.
Recognizing the need for the most vulnerable to have a safe-haven, Levine led the team into a new season of expansion for a new three-story Lydia House, which will provide 60 additional beds to women and mothers with children who are often living in their cars for shelter. Last year, under Levine’s leadership, the Mission also opened Timothy House, a safe haven for young men 18-24 years old experiencing homelessness.
