Joe Hollendoner has dedicated nearly 25 years to leading nonprofit, healthcare, and equity organizations focused on public health and social impact. As CEO of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, he oversees the world’s largest provider of direct services for LGBTQ+ people, leading an organization of more than 800 employees across 10 locations that serves more than 420,000 client visits annually.
Under Hollendoner’s leadership, the Center continues to expand its impact while responding to the unique needs of LGBTQ+ communities. The organization provides a holistic model of care that spans four broad categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, and Leadership and Advocacy, while remaining a trusted resource for LGBTQ+ people across Los Angeles. He prioritizes protecting critical services while ensuring responsiveness to the community.
