Hrag Hamalian is a transformational nonprofit executive and education leader whose career has been dedicated to expanding educational opportunity for students from under-resourced communities. For more than 20 years, he has built innovative schools, led high-impact nonprofit organizations and developed strategic partnerships that help young people discover passions and prepare for college, careers and lifelong success. As CEO of TGR Foundation, Hamalian leads the organization’s strategic vision, advancing its mission to empower students through education while positioning the Foundation for its next era of growth and impact.
Hrag was appointed CEO in early 2026, reflecting the Board’s confidence in the leadership he had demonstrated in expanding the Foundation’s educational programs, partnerships and national reach.
