Bob Beitcher has been the chief executive officer and president at MPTF since July 2011 and has served on the organization’s Board of Directors since 2007. MPTF is acknowledged as the safety net for the industry workforce for over 100 years and most especially during the pandemic and more recently during the work stoppages and Los Angeles wildfires.
Under Beitcher’s leadership, in 2025, MPTF distributed $7.2 Million in charitable assistance to members of the entertainment community in need. 7,073 industry members received MPTF services. MPTF provides an array of financial and social services to a broad range of members of the entertainment community. During and in the aftermath of the 2025 LA Wildfires, MPTF distributed $2,360,000 in financial assistance.
