Arriving at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati same month as California’s initial pandemic lockdown, Victor Jih has combined his background in entertainment and media disputes with the firm’s dominance in the technology industry to create a thriving practice at the intersection of those areas. Under his local leadership, the firm has gone from having no physical location in Century City to an office of over 30 lawyers.
With an emphasis on intellectual property and litigation in the entertainment industry, Jih has worked with clients in the internet, software, hardware and retail sectors. He represents companies ranging from start-ups to motion picture studios and technology leaders in First Amendment, unfair competition, consumer privacy, class action defense, contract, employment law and other commercial litigation matters.
