Since joining BCLP in 2013, Puanani Norwood has risen from summer associate in Kansas City to her current role as office managing partner in Los Angeles, a title she received just 5 months after being named into the BCLP partner class. She is a skilled negotiator and deal closer, focusing on commercial real estate transactions in the renewable energy sector, representing regulated public utility companies, tax equity investors, developers and construction lenders.
Norwood oversees a team of BCLP lawyers who act as local counsel in connection with the representation of financial institutions that are financing and investing in various battery, wind and solar projects across the country. She also manages real estate transactions for one of the largest electric energy companies in the country.
