Arsen Kourinian is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Los Angeles office and practices data privacy and artificial intelligence (AI) law. He holds the AI governance professional, fellow of information privacy and certified information privacy professional credentials through the International Association of Privacy Professionals for the United States, Europe, Canada and Asia.
Through his practice, Kourinian has conducted a full audit of a human resources SaaS platform’s AI tool to help the company implement an AI governance program and comply with data privacy and cybersecurity laws. He has advised a major tech company regarding policies and procedures for AI compliance and is advising a major financial institution regarding the compliant use of AI tools for human resources functions.
