Sacks, Glazier, Franklin & Lodise LLP
Terrence Franklin has over three decades of experience handling some of the most significant and complex trusts and estates litigation. His breadth of expertise and reputation in the trusts and estates community underscore the reason clients turn to him for the resolution of high-profile multimillion-dollar disputes. Franklin is responsible for several published appeals and the landmark “Moeller v. Superior Court” case, which was brought before the California Supreme Court and established a fiduciary exception to the attorney-client privilege for successor trustees.
Franklin has successfully represented beneficiaries, trustees, individuals and institutional clients in matters involving substantial assets, including recently representing one of the nation’s largest banks in its capacity as trustee in a complex array of accounting and related disputes, resulting in no liability and a recovery of trustee’s fees and attorney’s fees. Franklin resisted an appeal by the beneficiary and the case was successfully settled with the plaintiff.
