Alice Chen Smith is the managing partner of YOKA | SMITH and is an experienced trial lawyer who has successfully tried many cases to verdict. Her primary focus is litigating catastrophic personal injury cases, products liability and business litigation matters. She practices throughout the State of California in trial and appellate courts.
Smith was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates as a member of the Los Angeles Chapter in 2019, and currently serves as the membership co-chair. She is the secretary-treasurer of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and will be its president in 2026. She has served on the Los Angeles County Bar Association President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession since 2018. She is also a Board Member with the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
