David B. Parker, the founding partner of Parker Shaffie LLP, has earned a reputation as one of California’s most accomplished litigators in the areas of legal malpractice, professional responsibility, and complex business disputes. Parker has consistently demonstrated not just technical excellence, but strategic insight, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to ethical integrity that sets him apart from others in his field.
One of Parker’s most significant career accomplishments is his founding of Parker Shaffie LLP in 1995. After helping to build what is now one of the largest defense firms in the country, Lewis Brisbois, where he was one of the original founding members, he made a deliberate decision to create a litigation boutique with a different vision — one that would focus on providing high-level advocacy.
