Brian Michael served more than eight years as an assistant US attorney in the Southern District of New York and the Central District of California, served as deputy general counsel and group chief compliance officer at 21st Century Fox, and advising clients in private practice. Today, Michael draws on more than 25 years of practice to represent individuals and entities in high-stakes white collar criminal cases, internal and government-facing investigations, securities and regulatory enforcement matters, crisis management, and trials.
Michael was retained by the attorney general of California to lead an independent review of the California DOJ’s public release of confidential personal information contained in a firearm-related database.
