Jamie Brooks of CBRE is a major force in the overall economic engine of retail development in South Los Angeles. He has lead leasing/sales and marketing in major retail center in South Los Angeles, Compton, Carson, Gardena, Pasadena and throughout the Southland. In Compton alone he has brought major retailers including Burlington, Footlocker, Planet Fitness, Verizon, Alta Med and more to underserved areas throughout South Los Angeles.
Brooks is involved both from a philanthropic stand point as well as from a business stand point. He serves on the Advisory Board of the African-American Real Estate Professionals Los Angeles is involved with ULI, ICSC and a variety of real estate organizations. He is also an active supporter of a variety of youth sports programs, The Los Angeles Brotherhood Crusade, Mothers In Action, The Los Angeles Urban League and many more.
