Julia Romano is a partner in King & Spalding’s Trial and Global Disputes practice. She defends Fortune 100 and other large companies in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, toxic tort and other product liability and tort cases. She has almost two dozen high-profile jury trials under her belt.
Romano continues to serve as both trial counsel and California Coordinating Counsel for Johnson & Johnson in the widely publicized litigation involving the company’s iconic baby powder and is currently serving as co-lead trial counsel in the first bellwether Zantac trial in California. Recently, she won a high-profile bad faith insurance trial for a top insurance company and obtained a defense verdict for Union Carbide in a challenging products liability case.
