Brian Ford is a corporate partner at Kirkland & Ellis and co-leader of the Debt Finance practice in Los Angeles. Ford focuses his practice on complex financing transactions for private equity firms, commercial lending institutions, portfolio companies, hedge funds, asset managers, alternative capital sources and other private and public companies.
In the past year, Ford has worked on transactions totaling more than $36 billion. Such transactions include the negotiation, structuring and documentation of secured and unsecured financings, including senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions, acquisition financings, dividend recapitalizations, debtor-in-possession, exit financings and restructurings. Additionally, Ford serves on the board of trustees of nonprofit leader All4Kids, a role he has held for more than five years.
