Anne Kim is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on advising public and private companies in both taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, cross-border transactions, recapitalizations and the formation of joint ventures.
Kim has significant experience representing premier private equity firms and asset managers in all types of transactions, including secondaries transactions, liquidity solutions for private fund sponsors and asset management M&A. She also advises clients on the tax aspects of capital markets transactions and debt restructurings. She has experience with diverse industries that are on the pulse of the culture in California, including technology, energy, retail, entertainment, media and insurance.
