As managing partner for Seyfarth Shaw’s Downtown Los Angeles office, Dana Treister is a leader both in the LA legal industry and the regional real estate industry, where he focuses his practice. Under his leadership, the LA office has more than doubled in size since its opening in 2009. Treister has handled some of the most complex real estate transactions for a variety of institutional and fund clients. He leads real estate transactions across all 50 states, with an emphasis on the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, real estate finance, land use and entitlement work, and complex ground lease transactions. Clients entrust him with a variety of development projects, ranging from historic rehabs to ground-up construction, especially in the hospitality area.
