For over two decades, Valerie Goo, managing partner of Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles office, has represented some of the world’s leading companies in complex litigation involving trademark infringement, unfair competition, trade secrets, false advertising and consumer class actions. She has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts across the country and holds a successful record in representing clients in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, including eight- and nine-figure disputes. Goo currently represents several large companies in fiercely fought intellectual property, commercial disputes and trade secrets cases between competitors. One example of her recent success is her work on behalf of Lockheed Martin. Goo led the Crowell team in a commercial and trade secrets litigation matter, with rulings constituting a complete defense victory in a lawsuit in which plaintiffs sought over $500 million in alleged damages.
