Sanford Michelman continues to move the needle in terms of his work in the courtroom and the growth of his namesake firm, Michelman & Robinson, LLP. He recently expanded the firm’s footprint into Texas with offices in Dallas and Houston. He also recently spearheaded a change to associate compensation at the firm that vaulted M&R to the top of the so-called “Cravath Scale” which dictates how much Big Law associates are paid.
All the while, Michelman continues to add to his track record of litigation successes. As chairman of M&R, he has been responsible for precedent-setting legal work, particularly in the insurance and banking & financial services sectors. He is also known for his representation of clients in governmental investigations, including those conducted by Departments of Insurance, Attorney General’s Offices, the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission and Department of Real Estate, among others.
