Maria Rodriguez’s innovative practice is focused on employment law compliance and class action litigation. She diligently defends her clients, helping them avoid or resolve disputes and protect resources. While Rodriguez dedicates a significant amount of her practice defending her clients against claims arising under state and federal employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, CFRA and PAGA, she has made a name for herself counseling clients and fighting against wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and other employment-related cases.
As part of an industry-wide pitch, Rodriguez and team were selected to develop a cutting-edge, anti-harassment training program for the seven major Hollywood studios. The training has been rolled out to all Hollywood production employees, including showrunners, talent, executives, and the crew, and continues to evolve to address discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and abusive conduct prevention in a multitude of circumstances and perspectives.
