Matt Rechner is the senior banking director for Northern Trust in Los Angeles. In this role, his primary responsibility is to lead, develop and help execute on wealth management strategies involving several banking teams across California. In 2022 and 2023, his role was further expanded to include San Diego and Santa Barbara region management support. He and his managed teams advise high-net-worth individuals, families and their businesses, trusts, foundations and non-profit organizations from a capital management perspective. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Rechner led Northern Trust’s banking practice in San Diego for four years. Before joining Northern Trust, he was a senior relationship manager for a real estate and commercial banking group.
